In the heart of McLaren Vale’s stunning wine region you’ll find Samson Tall, a dream brought to life by Paul Wilson and Heather Budich. Crafting a unique range of wines in their onsite winery, their beautiful church-turned-cellar door – built in 1854 – and the historic cemetery that sits behind, tells a tale of history, perseverance and the rich tapestry of this incredible region.
Such a lovely cellar door. Beautiful outdoor space, lovely wines, a friendly dog and wonderful staff. We visited with our 9 month old baby and the owner not only made us feel welcome but brought over a box of toys for him to play with. Highly recommend a visit.
Located within a beautifully restored old church, the Samson Tall cellar door looks out over a green lawn and an ocean of vines. The wines are, to be honest, some of the best value wines I’ve had recently. I’m hesitant to post a review because I don’t want you all buying my wine. Really, really good.
